Beginning Again

2003 - 2009

I had not drawn for a long time when my first daughter was born in December of 2003.  After a short while as a stay-at-home mom I found myself longing to create again.  So with a photogrraph of my daughter, a pencil, and a pen I began to work. I reflected on this significant life transition into motherhood.
